Alley Cleanup Fall 2019

The 12 South Beautification Committee is coming to an alley near you! We are on a mission to clean up all alleys in our community and with your diligence, keep them that way.

Who: You and the 12 South Beautification Committee Volunteers
What: Alley cleanup beginning right here on your streets, in your neighborhood
Let’s work together to clean as many alleys as we can in two hours!
When: Saturday, September 21st, 2019 @ 9:00-11:00 AM
Please arrive at 9am to pick up supplies
Where: Parking Lot between BOX and Waverly Belmont Elementary
How: The City Of Nashville will supply us with gloves, litter grabbers, bags & safety vests.
Take home a Free T-Shirt
All litter and debris will be collected and placed at the end of alleys for pickup on the following Monday AM.

Please remember: NO plastic bags are allowed in curbside recycling bins.

Important: This is not a bulk item pickup, please do not place ‘extra’ items out in anticipation of our efforts. For information on recycling and safe & responsible disposal of household items, check out these websites:

The 12 South Beautification Committee is comprised of your neighbors, folks who care. If you have an interest in volunteering, we would love to have you. We meet about once a month on a Saturday morning for about an hour.
