The 12 South Garden Club is a group of residents who are passionate about community building, sustainable living, and fresh food! Our mission is to cultivate community through shared gardening and education. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just getting started, there’s a place for you here.
The club is currently rooted at our temporary home, The 12 South Community Garden, on the corner of Montrose Ave and 10th Ave. a space that has been temporarily loaned to help establish the club until a more permanent location is secured. The 12 South Community Garden is a vibrant, volunteer-led space where neighbors grow food, friendship and a deeper connection to our urban environment. What began as an empty lot is now a flourishing garden filled with vegetables, herbs, flowers, and the energy of a caring neighborhood.
This garden is only possible with the generous contributions made by the 12 South Neighborhood Association, Chris Aycock, Maker Construction, Flautt Construction, and the time energy, and knowledge of our community.
